“How to create a “model-home like setting”, so that your home sells fast, for top dollar.”

Kids rooms:
Get your kids involved in helping you sell your home! In your kids rooms remove all posters and remove or hide as much clutter as possible. Posters that may offend or embarrass buyers should be removed.

Magazines and newspapers:
Discard old magazines and newspapers. They can be distracting and make your home look cluttered. If you have to keep them, consider keeping them boxed up in an out of the way closet.

Scents & Smells:
A home with no scent is more appealing than a home with artificial scents added. A heavily scented home may have homebuyers wondering what you’re hiding.

Houseplants:
Throw away all unhealthy houseplants. You might want to consider replacing these with some lush well made artificial plants.

Clean, clean, clean:
Clean like you have never cleaned before. Especially important are the bathrooms (mirrors and toilets) and the kitchen. Don’t forget to shine the chrome! Everything should look new and unused!

Windows:
Clean windows are a must! Make sure the window sills and the blinds are clean and free of dust. Dish soap, warm water and a squeegee can do wonders for window glass! Toilet bowl cleaner works great on hard water stains.

Drapes & Window coverings:
When you have a showing or when your not going to be home, leave the drapes open. You want your home to appear bright, open, and inviting.
