Beautiful living room

“How to create an appealing setting, so that your home sells fast, for top dollar.

A Great “Staging” Story

I helped a fellow real estate agent stage a home that she listed in Mesquite. After we staged the home the owner decided not to sell, because the home looked so nice.

Why did the owner decide against selling? It showed just like a model home. It was well decorated, no personal items showed, and it was squeaky clean.

Wallpaper

Wallpaper selection is very much a personal choice and it’s likely that your potential buyers may not have the same likes and dislikes as you do. Unless the wallpaper is simple, and easy on the eyes, it should be removed and the walls should be repainted.

Most homes that sell the fastest for the most money, will have off-white (“realtor white”) painted walls, with an unobtrusive picture here and there

 Paint:

A fresh coat of off-white paint will help your home sell more quickly. Other more “interesting” colors usually bring the comment, “This room will have to be painted!” Painting = work to buyers.
