Ivins,
Utah is a small town located
on the far west edge of St. George. The main part of town consists
of a mix of single family homes, Patio / townhomes, and mobile
homes.
The population consists
of mostly middle class, two income house-holds. Children are the
norm.
The main draw to Ivins
is the views of Red
Mountain (a large red colored
bluff). Homes have been built right up to the edge of this
bluff.
Another draw to Ivins is
the Kayenta subdivision. Kayenta is made up of about 1000 fairly
pricey homes ($600,000 and up) designed to blend in with the land
and take advantage of the amazing views.
- Ivins has two small
strip malls with various stores and a gas
station.
