Here are pictures of a Fixer-upper home that a friend and I did in Denver.

We paid $37,000 for the 2 bedroom, 1 bath 700 sq. ft. home in 1992.

We put $11,000 in repairs into the home and then sold it for $55,000. Not a great profit, but a good learning experience. This home would sell for $150,000+ now.

This is the kitchen before. Floor was slightly rotted out by sink.

Kitchen After. We replaced the floor, counter tops, fridge, and stove.

bathroom before.jpg

Nasty old bathroom before. The flooring and sub-floor was mostly rotted out. The shower was an old ugly, pink fake tile insert.

bathroom after.jpg

Bathroom after re-doing floor and having tile installed in the tub.

bedroom before.jpg

One of the two bedrooms. This bedrooms painted blue of course. The other bedroom can be seen through the door. It was painted pink. The hall and living room were painted yellow. Very strange color combination. The door on the right is the shared closet.

bedroom after.jpg

The bedroom after the walls were painted and nice looking grey carpet is layed. The hardwood flooring in the hall and livingroom were refinished, and looked awesome.
